3 Tips To Create Sacred Space In Your Office, Home, and Self

102_2650 Discovering how to create sacred space is a crucial life skill when the choppy waters of stress, regret, grief or insecurity knock on your door.

Tip 1: On a regular basis, clear negative energy in your room.

Typically, people often burn sage to clean the energy in a room. Yet, that can be hard on the lungs in the long-term. I instead do the following:

  • Get an old pan and put 5 tablespoons of grain alcohol (or rubbing alcohol).
  • Add 2 tablespoons of sea salt
  • Then, carefully light it.

Next, I put it on the floor with a plate underneath so the heat from it does not damage the floor. I then, with my hands, invite the energy in the room to flow into the pan, so it can be purified by the fire.

I used to walk around the room with it, but I once spilled a little, and burnt the rug slightly.

So now, I simply direct the energy into the pot instead of take the pot to the congested energy in the room.

Whichever way you choose, be safe! I learned this method while attending the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.

 

Tip 2: Cultivate Sacred Space in your Mind and Body Systems.  

Every night, before I sleep, I connect to my inner wholeness (Core Being) and fill my cells with this energy. 

This daily practice helps remind me of who I really am at the quantum level of wholeness and is vital to cultivating a deeper connection with my true self. I strongly recommend you develop a daily practice so you can re-connect to your inner sacred space.

Tip 3: Make An Alter or Sacred Spot to Tune In and Tune Out.

Make an alter – or create a sacred spot in  your house – so you can foster the ability to create inner sacred space.

This is because, simply having a specific place to go, can urge you to practice more often.
